Lee Westwood makes huge eagle at British Open
Lee Westwood starts hot for his third round at Muirfield.
Lee Westwood opened up his third round of the British Open on Saturday with some nice scoring.
He made this long eagle on the par-5 fifth hole to assume the lead from Tiger Woods and later made a short birdie on the par-3 No. 7. I love the double fist pump from Westwood after his eagle.
Westwood has played 61 majors without ever winning one -- that's the most of any active golfer.
There's a lot of golf left but Westwood looks incredibly strong right now and the crowd is willing him to the top of the leaderboard just like they did with Andy Murray at Wimbledon a couple weeks ago.
