Masters 2015: Lottery for badges now open
The hottest ticket in sports and you have the chance to win one via a lottery on Masters.com.
You can now enter the lottery for badges to the 2015 Masters, according to Masters.com.
As Augusta.com points out, the deadline is June 30 and you will receieve a yes or no by July.
"The random selection for practice rounds tickets will take place after the June 30 application deadline and all applicants will be notified in mid-July when the process is complete."
Prices for one-day badges as well as practice rounds have gone up for next year and, yep, zero people care. Here's Scott Michaux with a short history of badge prices:
Masters prices: 1988, $85 (4-day badge); '89, $90; '93, $100; 2001, $125; '04, $175; '08, $200; '12, $250, '15 ($400 for 4 daily tix)— Scott Michaux (@ScottMichaux) May 12, 2014
And yes, this couldn't be any more correct:
