Masters: Kevin Streelman rewards kid on Twitter with two free badges
This Kevin Streelman story about giving some random kid on Twitter a trip to Augusta for Wednesday's practice round is terrific.
Kevin Streelman just made some dude's week (year? life?) by giving away two badges to Wednesday's practice round at Augusta National.
It all started when his parents got sick and couldn't come out for the tournament:
Bad News- mom and dad aren't feeling well, can't make tournament today Good News- 2 open wed tix for Masters— Kevin Streelman (@Streels54) April 9, 2014
So Streelman opened things up on his Twitter account at 7 AM Eastern to get a kid out to enjoy the festivities:
I need a junior golfer who has never been to Augusta, who can get here ASAP w either mom and dad to get back to me!!!!!— Kevin Streelman (@Streels54) April 9, 2014
A kid responded:
@Streels54 I've never been! I'm 17 and my mom could take me!!!— Harrison Stafford (@Lil_Staff) April 9, 2014
So Streelman took him up on it:
And that, my friends, is an all-time story if you're Harrison Stafford. No matter what happens for the rest of your life you have a dagger story at dinner parties around all your friends.
That Streelman dude, too, pretty cool guy.
