Adam Scott lit up Augusta National to the tune of a 69 on Thursday that could have easily been a 67 if not for one errant shot on No. 12.

He was rewarded on Thursday night with odds from Bovada making him the sole favorite to win the 78th Masters.

Here's a look:

The favorite

Adam Scott: 11-2

The other favorites

Rory McIlroy: 7-1
Bubba Watson: 15-2
Louis Oosthuizen: 14-1
Bill Haas: 18-1
Brandt Snedeker: 18-1

The fringe favorites

Jimmy Walker: 28-1
Gary Woodland: 30-1
Matt Kuchar: 30-1
Jordan Spieth: 33-1
Henrik Stenson: 33-1
Rickie Fowler: 33-1

Everyone else

Marc Leishman: 40-1
Sergio Garcia: 40-1
Lee Westwood: 45-1
Jason Day: 50-1
KJ Choi: 50-1
Phil Mickelson: 50-1
Graeme McDowell: 60-1
Fred Couples: 80-1

Give me Spieth at 33-1 and Choi at 50-1 at those values. They shouldn't be that high (or low, however you look at it).

Scott on the other hand is perfectly handicapped. He was the most pressing golfer in the field on Thursday and only made one mistake. If his putter hadn't left him he would lead by one instead of trailing by one.

He has the stuff to defend and I think he's going to do it.
