Masters weather: No rain projected for beginning of week
This could change but for now it looks like the beginning of Masters week will be clear and pretty.
The Masters is just around the corner (10 days, to be exact) and we're pretty excited. There's plenty of golf to be played between now and then but we also want to keep you informed about what's going on with Augusta.
We're at the 10-day mark before the Masters starts which means the 10-day weather forecasts are rolling in.
I remember my first Masters in 2007, the one Zach Johnson took back to Iowa. The weather was atrocious. Temperatures in the 30s and 40s -- tons of wind, freezing rain. It was pretty awful and I didn't care one bit.
According to Weather.com it won't be nearly that bad this year. Here's a look at the beginning of next week when the practice rounds start:
The big thing is that rain isn't expected thus far. Obviously this can change a ton between now and then and, well...weathermen. But still, good to see clear and cool for now.
A nice change from those ice storms of two months ago.
