UPDATE (8:25 a.m.): Play will resume at 8:35 a.m.

Play at the 2014 PGA Championship has been suspended because of a rainstorm that looks to be around for a while.

The horn blew at 8:00 a.m. ET on Friday, right before the featured group of Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson and Martin Kaymer was getting ready to go off.

Not terrible but not great, either.

The real problem is that this is supposed to continue all morning and into the afternoon as well. It's going to be a miracle if the tournament gets all the second rounds in before Saturday.
