Richard Sterne and Thomas Bjorn scratched from US Open

Richard Sterne and Thomas Bjorn will likely get two Christmas cards this year from Scott Langley and Andrew Dorn.

Sterne is out because he's still recovering from an undisclosed injury and Bjorn is out because of neck and shoulder injuries.

Langley and Dorn will take their spots as they were the first two alternates into the year's second major.

Langley, who qualified in Tennessee, actually recently played in the final group with Bubba Watson at the Memorial Tournament before shooting 79 in the final round. Dorn, who qualified in Ohio, is an amateur.

Langley finished T16 at the 2010 US Open.
