Last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Rickie Fowler wore these Arnold Palmer-themed high-top Puma spikes. This week, he auctioned a second pair off for $25,300 on eBay and donated all of the money to the Arnie’s Army Charitable Foundation.
“The plan is the second pair of the shoes that were handmade, those are currently being auctioned off,” said Fowler last week. “I think there’s six days lefts on the auction right now. So those shoes are going out to the obviously, the highest bidder.
.@RickieFowler has been wearing these all week. A signed pair is up for auction benefiting @ArniesArmyCF. https://t.co/Zp07MKWGj8 pic.twitter.com/ZJZssrHKI2

“Then the shoes that I’m wearing I’m hoping that I can keep the left shoe and take that home, I’ve got a little Arnie setup at the house and then I want to leave the right shoe here [in his office at Bay Hill] and hopefully next to the hat.”
Many thanks to @RickieFowler who stopped by to leave a tribute to @arnoldpalmer in his office. One of the best. #LifeWellPlayed pic.twitter.com/pnIVHSVcAl

Fowler autographed the pair that was auctioned off on eBay. It was a pretty awesome move to end a pretty great week at Bay Hill.
