Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy do Ice Bucket Challenge together
The Nike lovefest continues as the world No. 1 shares an ice bath the second greatest golfer to ever live.
Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are having a good ol' time together touring New York this week, it seems and their latest platonic dalliance includes a sharing of the Ice Bucket Challenge everyone on the entire Internet is doing.
The Challenge creates awareness for ALS and Tiger (who has been nominated by everyone) and Rory (who has been nominated by everyone else) finally decided to do it.
Tiger nominated Phil Knight and Rafael Nadal while Rory nominated George W. Bush, Wayne Rooney, and a model and actor named Meghan Markle.
The whole thing is actually pretty funny and I have to say it's odd to see Tiger not in character. Refreshing, even.
Also, this is a pretty cool stat on what the Ice Bucket Challenge has accomplished:
The national chapter of the ALS Association raised $23.5M in 2013. The Bucket Challenge in 22 DAYS has raised $22.9 million.— darren rovell (@darrenrovell) August 19, 2014
