Tiger Woods is still undecided on the PGA Championship
Tiger Woods thinks he still has a ton of time to decide about the 2014 PGA Championship.
Tiger Woods and the PGA Championship is just like Rory McIlroy's love life: Maybe, but also maybe not.
In a text message to ESPN.com, Mark Steinberg said it was too soon to determine whether Woods would play in the year's final major in Louisville, Kentucky.
"Way too early. He has to rest and get treatment and then assess later," he wrote. "Pointless to make that decision now without proper time to give him best chance. Nothing further today, maybe [not] even tomorrow."
The first tee shot of the PGA Championship is just over 60 hours away and Steinberg thinks it's "way too early" to make a decision.
I for one would be stunned if he did play.
What's the point, really? Does he think he's going to win with the way he played at the Quicken Loans National, British Open, and Bridgestone Invitational?
That's silliness and anything other than shutting it down for the season and re-grouping for 2015 would be as well.
Nevertheless Tiger's caddie Joe LaCava was on site at Valhalla scouting the track for his boss.
As always, stay tuned.
