Rory McIlroy is a single Green Jacket away from becoming just the sixth golfer ever to win the career grand slam.

One of those other five will try to keep him from it.

McIlroy and Tiger Woods toured New York this week shilling product for Nike and generally seeming like they enjoyed their time together.

McIlroy did say, however, that Woods had a message for him regarding Augusta next season.

"I know that he's working his butt off to get back here and get back to where he wants to be," said McIlroy.

"We talked about a few things and he's telling me like, 'I'm not going to let you win a green jacket next year,' ... because he's super competitive."

I will say this, if it actually is Tiger warring with the Ulsterman down the stretch of next year's Masters you might have to rebuild whatever building the Nielsen ratings boxes are kept in because that event will shatter everything we've ever seen when it comes to golf.
