Weather delays play in final round of 2014 PGA Championship
The rains have fallen in a big way at Valhalla and the final round of the year's final major is in a delay.
UPDATE: Play to resume at 2:40 p.m. Eastern.
In case you're wondering sunset is at 8:42 p.m.
Okay this is not good.
Clouds have encircled Valhalla and they are unleashing an unholy torrential rain on the course which has delayed the final round of the 2014 PGA Championship.
I mean look at this stuff:

And the trophy looks lonely:
I'm not sure when they'll continue yet (the horn blew at 1 p.m. Eastern) but it might not be soon if Sergio running to the clubhouse is any indication.
The storm doesn't look huge but it's dumping everything it has on the course -- it'll take crews a while to get things cranking back up when the rains subside and we could be looking at a Monday finish.
