MaxPreps named its first high school basketball Junior All-America team in 2010 when Austin Rivers of Winter Park (Fla.) was named National Junior of the Year. Wayne Blackshear, Quinn Cook, Michael Gilchrist and Myck Kabonga joined him on the first team. Since then, more than 600 players in 40 states have etched their place in history by earning the honor.

La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.) and Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) lead the way with eight players selected. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) is not far behind with seven while Huntington Prep (Huntington, W.Va.), IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) have all produced six selections.
