A record-setting receiver on a record-setting team, Julian Fleming of Southern Columbia Area is an easy choice as the MaxPreps Small Schools National Player of the Year.
Rated as the No. 2 player in the nation by 247Sports, Fleming is headed to Ohio State next year after a spectacular four-year career with the Tigers. He played on a Tiger team that went 63-1 with three state championships and four state title game appearances. Fleming and his Tiger teammates also went out on a 48-game win streak, which ranks as the third-longest active streak in the nation.
