Corona Centennial jumps into the MaxPreps Top 25 and faces St. John Bosco next.

There were no casualties as postseason play around the country hit full swing.

No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) and No. 2 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) continued on their CIF Southern Section collision course as the Monarchs got a seven-TD, 400-yard passing performance from quarterback Bryce Young in a 63-23 pasting of Bishop Amat (La Puente, Calif.). The Braves, meanwhile, rolled to a 63-7 win over Calabasas (Calif.) and draw the long newcomer to the Composite Top 25, Centennial (Corona, Calif.), in the next round.
