Judges in the sports category included Ann Killion, Sports Columnist, The San Jose Mercury News; Carol Plum, Managing Editor, Conde Nast Sports for Women; John Rousseau, President and CEO, IDG Games Media Group; Sally Stump, Director of Marketing, Quokka Sports; and James Worthy, Former Los Angeles Laker and FOX Sports NBA Analyst.

We are committed to delivering the most timely, comprehensive and entertaining sports programming on the Web and this award is further validation that we are succeeding," said Michael Levy, president and CEO of SportsLine USA, Inc.

CBS SportsLine's recent coverage of the XVIII Olympic Winter Games received numerous accolades in the media. A USA Today/IntelliQuest poll asked adult Internet users to rate the Olympic coverage on three Web sites in three categories: most useful, most up-to-date information, and easy to use/navigate. CBS SportsLine's coverage was the winner in each category by a decisive margin (USA Today, February 11, 1998).
