WebMD and SportsLine USA, Inc. Announce Exclusive Healthcare Content, Marketing, and Promotion Alliance

WebMD to Become Content Provider and
Sponsor of CBS SportsLine Health & Wellness Arena

ATLANTA, GA and FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (August 19, 1999) - WebMD, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare information on the Internet and SportsLine USA, Inc., (NASDAQ:SPLN) the leading global Internet sports media company and publisher of CBS SportsLine (http://cbs.sportsline.com), announced today that they have signed an exclusive two-year marketing and promotion agreement. As previously announced, Healtheon Corporation (NASDAQ:HLTH) and WebMD have signed a definitive agreement to merge to form Healtheon/WebMD.

As part of this new alliance, WebMD will become the exclusive sponsor and content provider for CBS SportsLine's Health & Wellness arena beginning in September. Users logging onto CBS SportsLine's Health & Wellness arena will be able to get the latest health and medical news, information and updates from the experts at WebMD, as well as access to daily interactive health-oriented events and online support communities. Additionally, WebMD will be the official sponsor of all injury reports on CBS SportsLine in its coverage of professional and collegiate athletics, providing in-depth medical analysis of sports-related injuries.

International Golf Outlet (IGO), SportsLine's golf e-commerce store that offers fine golf equipment and accessories, including golf clubs, golf balls, bags, footwear, apparel, accessories, training aids, art, software, books, and videos will become the exclusive golf merchant on WebMD. In addition, subscribers to WebMD's physicians service have the opportunity to join SportsLine's WebMD Players Club, entitling them to benefits including comprehensive game analysis, an online handicap system, exclusive tips from PGA pros, and a variety of discounts on travel, greens fees, and equipment.
