Tuesday night in Omaha, Coastal Carolina topped Arizona in Game 2 of the 2016 College World Series finals (CC 5, UA 4). In doing so, they evened the best-of-three series at 1-1. That, of course, sets up a deciding game for the national championship.

The story in Game 2 was Coastal Carolina senior right-hander Mike Morrison. He worked as the Chanticleer's closer this season and didn't make a start all year. On Tuesday, though, he did make a start, and he came up big. Across 6 2/3 innings, Morrison allowed two runs on six hits while striking out 10 and walking two. On the offensive end of things, left fielder and leadoff hitter Anthony Marks reached base four times and drove in a pair. A three-run eighth inning proved to be the difference-maker for Coastal.
