Ad calls for David Glass to sell Royals
Some prominent ad space in the Kansas City Star has been used to urge Royals owner David Glass to divest himself of the team.

Given the serialized failures that Royals fans have endured since David Glass purchased the team, it's easy to understand why they'd prefer a new caretaker for the once-proud franchise. Now, a subset of those fans are calling on Glass to sell the team to someone more willing to reinvest in the product.
Using fan donations to no-more-glass.com, organizer Joe Accurso purchased ad space in the sports section of the Kansas City Star and published an open letter to Glass -- a letter that urges him to sell the team to a local owner who actually cares about, you know, winning baseball games.
While I have no doubt that this letter will fall on deaf ears, it does seem to signify growing unrest within the fan base.
At this point, I suppose the best thing you can say about David Glass is that he isn't Jeffrey Loria.
