Phillies pitcher A.J. Burnett was hit with a loss Sunday after giving up six runs (four earned) on 11 hits and one walk in seven innings while striking out three in his team's 6-0 loss to the Dodgers.
Burnett (3-4) managed to keep his free passes in check, walking less that two batters for the first time in five May starts, but he was extremely hittable throughout the outing. He owns a 3.51 ERA and 53:31 K:BB ratio in 66 2/3 innings. Burnett is slated to take on the Mets Friday.
