With many in baseball either en route to Orlando or planning to leave Sunday for the Winter Meetings, Saturday was a predictably slow news day -- not that anyone is likely complaining after the whirlwind that took place in the Hot Stove League this past week.

Regardless, we're still here to round everything up. Let's get to it.

Houston Astros : Reliever Chad Qualls is coming back to Houston on a two-year deal with a club option for a third year.

Brett Anderson : The Colorado Rockies and A's discussed a trade that would have sent Anderson to Colorado but were unable to find a match, per Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

Matt Kemp : The Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder is expecting to be traded during the Winter Meetings, according to his agent, Dave Stewart (yes, that Dave Stewart), who is planning on being present in Orlando just in case. The Boston Red Sox are rumored to be interested (ESPN Boston).

Arizona Diamondbacks : They'd like a corner outfielder after missing out on Carlos Beltran and they're eyeing Mark Trumbo , according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

San Francisco Giants : The club is looking at Michael Morse , but still feels like a trade for a left fielder might be the best route, according to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Miami Marlins : The team is still targeting a new third baseman, and beat writer Joe Frisaro reports that there's interest in 28-year-old utility man Sean Rodriguez of the Tampa Bay Rays via trade. Also of note from the story is that Logan Morrison is likely to be traded and the Rays are among teams that have interest in Morrison.

New York Yankees : After signing both Carlos Beltran and Jacoby Ellsbury , the club has received "significant interest" in outfielder Brett Gardner , according to Andy McCullough of the Star-Ledger. McCullough notes that the Yankees are willing to deal Gardner, too.
