Teams and front offices across baseball were still recovering from their Thanksgiving food comas on Friday, but there were a few signings and rumors. Here's the latest from the currently not-so-hot stove.

Dodgers: Signed OF Mike Baxter ($700,000), C Drew Butera ($700,000) and LHP Scott Elbert ($575,000) to one-year contracts, avoiding arbitration.

Giants: Re-signed RHP Ryan Vogelsong to a one-year contract worth $5 or so million. Incentives could push the total value of the deal north of $6.5 million.

Rays: Re-signed RHP Juan Carlos Oviedo. It's likely a minor league contract. He figures to be in their bullpen mix next season.

Royals: Signed GM Dayton Moore to a two-year contract extension. He is now under contract through the 2016 season.

Dodgers: Have had ongoing talks about a contract extension with SS Hanley Ramirez. He'll earn $16 million in 2014 and become a free agent next offseason. (ESPN Deportes)

Marlins: Interested 2B Mark Ellis for veteran leadership. The club figures to seek stopgaps at second, third and catcher this winter. (Gammons Daily)
