Brewers minor leaguers combine for a no-hitter
Brewers right-handers Chad Thompson and Mark Williams combined to throw a no-hitter for low-Class A Wisconsin.
Thompson, 21, was making his Midwest League debut. A 27th-round pick in last year's draft, the 6-foot-8 right-hander struck out six in five innings, walking three.
The right-handed Williams, 22, struck out three -- including the last two batters he faced -- walked one and hit a batter. It was the fourth no-hitter in Timber Rattlers history.
