Chipper Jones, Yu Darvish lead All-Star 'Final Vote'
With two days remaining in the vote for the final All-Star roster spot in each league, Atlanta's Chipper Jones and Texas' Yu Darvish have slim leads.
The "Final Vote" balloting to determine the 34th and final All-Star roster spot for each league is ongoing, but the early returns are in. Braves third baseman Chipper Jones leads the NL vote, and Rangers right-hander Yu Darvish paces the AL hopefuls.
Jones is followed by David Freese of the Cardinals, Bryce Harper of the Nationals, Aaron Hill of the Diamondbacks, and teammate Michael Bourn. In the AL, meanwhle, Jake Peavy of the White Sox is second behind Darvish, followed by Baltimore's Jason Hammel, Anaheim's (Los Angeles of) Ernesto Frieri, and Kansas City's Jonathan Broxton.
Voting continues until 4 pm ET on Thursday over at the mothership.
