Craig exits game with left foot sprain
The Cardinals lost first baseman Allen Craig after he rolled his ankle on Wednesday night.
UPDATE: Craig left the game with a left foot sprain, the Cardinals announced. He will be re-evaluated on Thursday.

Cardinals first baseman Allen Craig had to leave Wednesday night's game against the Reds in the fourth inning after rolling his left ankle while rounding first base. He was on the ground for a few minutes before gingerly walking off the field with the trainer. Here's the play:
Craig, 29, has had a series of right knee problems over the years, but that was clearly an unrelated fluke injury on a misstep. The Cardinals have yet to made an official announcement about his status.
In 133 games coming into Wednesday, Craig was hitting .314/.373/.457 (130 OPS+) with 13 home runs and 97 RBI. He has settled in as the team's everyday first baseman following Albert Pujols' departure via free agency.
