Cubs recall Quintin Berry, Trevor Cahill and Tsuyoshi Wada
The Cubs signed Berry to a minor-league deal last week after he was released by the Red Sox. He hit .225 with four home runs and 38 RBI between the Red Sox and Cubs Triple-A affiliates.
Likewise, the Cubs inked Cahill to a minor-league contract on Aug. 19 after his release from the Dodgers. Cahill, a former second-round draft pick, is with his third organization this season, though he's only made 15 big-league appearances in 2015.
Wada made seven starts with the Cubs earlier this season, going 1-1 with a 3.73 ERA. He suffered a shoulder injury which forced him to the disabled list. He was sent to the minor leagues after being activated from the DL.
