Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock totaled three hits, including his eighth home run, during a 7-6 loss Wednesday against the Dodgers. He also had two runs and two strikeouts.

Pollock tied the game at six in the top of the ninth inning, as he hit a leadoff home run off of Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen. Five of his home runs this season have been solo shots.

Since May 19, Pollock is batting .398 (35 for 88) with a .442 on-base percentage, .705 slugging percentage and 1.147 OPS in his last 22 games. He has two triples, eight doubles, five home runs, 15 RBI, 20 runs and eight stolen bases in that span.
