With two home runs against the Blue Jays on Monday night, Red Sox DH David Ortiz tied and then passed Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski for 36th place on the all-time home run list.

Now here is his second homer of the night, number 453 of his career:

It's worth noting Ortiz did not pass Yastrzemski on the Red Sox's all-time home run list. He is still third on that list with 395 homers, behind Ted Williams (521) and Yaz. Ortiz hit 58 home runs with the Twins before joining Boston.

Next up on the all-time list for Ortiz is the still active Adam Dunn, who has 454 career long balls. Jose Canseco is next after that at 462 career homers.
