Dodgers are talking to Phillies, too; Victorino more likely but Pence in talks, too

The Dodgers still looking for offense, have been talking to the Phillies about their outfielders Hunter Pence and Shane Victorino.

Victorino may be the more likely of the two but it's interesting that they are also in on Pence since their archrival Giants are known to be talking about Pence.

The Phillies outfielders are seen as more likely for the Dodgers than Aramis Ramirez, Corey Hart, Justin Morneau and most of the others the Dodgers have talked about. They've also had discussions with the Cubs regarding Alfonso Soriano

The Giants have been seen as a possible landing spot for Pence if he's dealt. Of course, there's no guarantee Pence will be dealt, and in fact Phillies people have assured Pence that he'd stay. (Of course, as GM Ruben Amaro said, speaking generally plans can change).

The Giants and Reds have been mentioned as possibilities for Victorino, too.

The Dodgers also are hoping to add a starting pitcher. Ryan Dempster has been seen as the most likely rotation possibility for them.
