LOS ANGELES -- It's time for "Game Ending Audio," which delivers to you, variously, the explosion of joy or the groan-punctuated silence of the last out or hit of these most meaningful October games.

In the final moments of Game 5 of the NLCS, there was drama to be found. The home-standing Dodgers opened the top of the ninth with a 6-2 lead over the Cardinals. The visitors chipped away at that lead, however, and when Adron Chambers stepped to the plate with two outs he represented the potential go-ahead run. L.A. closer Kenley Jansen settled down just in time, though, as he struck out Chambers looking.

Now here's how the Dodger Stadium crowd sent their team back to St. Louis on the occasion of the final out of Game 5 ...

To state the obvious, there was a bit more enthusiam to be found than there was after Game 4
