It appears re-signing outfielder Michael Morse is becoming less likely of an option for the Giants, according to SFGate.com.

Giants assistant general manager Bobby Evans said the Giants remain in talks with Morse. However, he is getting a lot of interest from AL teams looking for a DH.

"He’s got interest from other suitors on a multiyear basis, and the market may ultimately sweep him away," Evans said.

The 32-year-old Morse spent the 2014 season with the World Series champs. He hit .279 with a .475 slugging percentage, .811 OPS, 16 home runs, 32 doubles and 61 RBI in 131 games.
