IMPORTANT: Halladay, Beltran take social media to a new level

Professional athletes everywhere, the social media bar has been raised thanks to Roy Halladay and Carlos Beltran.

In my estimation, 99.9 percent of professional athletes on social media are boring. They never say anything interesting. Good team win? Going to shake off the loss and get back at it again tomorrow? Hard at work? #riseandgrind? Gee, thanks.

That remaining 0.1 percent can be pretty good though. For example, the great Roy Halladay joined Twitter yesterday (@DocHalladay32) and posted a photo of him piloting a plane to Crystal Lake, Florida:
