The big name in baseball all day Wednesday was Josh Hamilton, following his thrilling four-homer, eight-RBI outing at Camden Yards in a Rangers victory Tuesday night. Unfortunately, rain washed out the Rangers-Orioles tilt scheduled for Wednesday night, so we have to wait until Thursday to see what Hamilton's encore performance is. Well, at least in game action ...

MLB.com has the video of Hamilton and a group of teammates going slip-n-slide on the wet Baltimore tarp.

So there are now two sides and everyone has to take one. You aren't allowed to sit on the fence.

1. Hamilton is due to be a free agent after the season. Running on wet grass like that and then sliding -- when we already know how injury-prone he is -- is completely reckless for his own financial future, not to mention the immediate future for the Rangers.

2. They're just having fun. Settle down and quit being so grouchy and judgmental. Everything doesn't always have to be a serious discussion.
