Lil Wayne sings 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame'
Rapper Lil Wayne sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.
Apparently rapper Lil Wayne is a friend of Giants utility man Ryan Theriot, and as such, he sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch in Sunday's Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.
Courtesy of the Giants' official Twitter feed, here's the video of the performance, if you're into that kind of thing:
As popular as Lil Wayne is, Twitter blew up for the singing of "God Bless America," performed by Misa Malone of San Francisco's Beach Blanket Babylon. Twitter, of course, exploded with questions about the hat and making fun of it. Many of those people must be new to this whole postseason baseball thing, because two years ago at Game 5 of the NLCS, another cast member of the show sang "God Bless America."
