On Sunday, future Hall of Famer Derek Jeter, who retired following the 2014 season, will have his number retired by the Yankees and be enshrined in Yankee Stadium's Monument Park. 

Obviously, that's going to be a big day for Jeter, Yankees fans, and all of baseball. In advance of that deserved feting, Jeter has taken to the electronic pages of his very own Players' Tribune to write a thank you note of sorts to the city with which he'll always be associated.
