LOOK: DJ LeMahieu bails out Charlie Blackmon after he runs out of gas
Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu helped out his teammate Charlie Blackmon after the ran out of gas.
Running out of gas is the worst. I don't know if it's ever happened to you, but when it does, you feel like a dope and you get mad at yourself for letting it happen. The worst.
Earlier today, Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon managed to run out of gas while traveling to wherever. So he called a buddy for help. In this case, his buddy was teammate DJ LeMahieu, who made sure to poke fun at him on Twitter. Check it out (via @DJLeMahieu):
"Found this guy testing out the empty light in his car this morning. Didn't quite make it," said LeMahieu's caption.
Hey, if you're going to call your friend for help after running out of gas, you have to wear the social media shame. That's part of the deal.
Aside: Charlie Blackmon wears skinny jeans.
