Angels third baseman Luis Jimenez is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blue Jays. He suffered a thumb contusion Saturday and hasn't played since, while also reporting soreness in his shoulders Wednesday.
Jimenez has hit .314/.342/.400 in 35 at-bats since rejoining the Angels in late August.
