The Marlins have agreed to terms with free-agent outfielder Ichiro Suzuki on Friday, CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman confirms. Craig Mish of MLB Network Radio first reported the deal. According to Heyman, he'll receive $2 million in 2015.

Suzuki, 41, will serve as Miami's fourth outfielder, behind Giancarlo Stanton, Marcell Ozuna and Christian Yelich. Ichiro is 156 hits shy of 3,000 career hits, and will now have a chance to reach that feat in Miami. Last season, he hit .284/.324/.334 with one home run and 20 RBI over 356 at-bats with the Yankees. He stole 15 bases in 18 tries.
