Sketchy Internet rumor has it that hoops superstar LeBron James is leaving the Miami Heat in favor of his home-state Cleveland Cavaliers. Needless to say this has left Heat fans -- both of them! -- is a state of inconsolable mourning. Lucky for them, the St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League are here, automatic for the people. Heat fans who come to Tradition Field over the next week can trade in their LeBron James jerseys or T-shirt jerseys for a St. Lucie Mets season ticket for all remaining home games. The season ticket package includes a special cup and Mets T-shirt.

All James jerseys and T-shirts should be brought to the Tradition Field ticket office. The garments will be donated to the local Goodwill.

Seems like a reasonable use of some no-longer-relevant textiles, wouldn't you say? Pity the Marlins didn't think of it first.
