The 2021 World Series is heading back to Houston on Tuesday (8:09 p.m. ET) after the Astros forced a Game 6 with a 9-5 win in Game 5 on Sunday night. The Braves still only need one win to close out the series, and they'll send Max Fried to the mound after he was tagged for six earned runs in five innings during a Game 3 loss. Now MLB daily Fantasy players will be wondering if the Astros will continue to pound the lefty again, or if Fried can bounce back after posting a 3.04 ERA during the regular season.
Houston has scored four runs in its three losses during the World Series 2021, but has 16 runs in its two wins, so how you set your MLB DFS lineups for Tuesday might come down to who you think has the upper hand. And with big money on the line in MLB DFS tournaments, cash games and 50-50s on FanDuel and DraftKings, you'll want to make sure you are finding the best matchups in the MLB DFS player pool for Game 6. Before finalizing your Astros vs. Braves MLB DFS picks, be sure to check out the MLB DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

In Game 5 of the World Series, McClure listed Astros shortstop Carlos Correa as one of his core lineup picks on DraftKings. The result: Correa went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored and finished with 17 points on DK. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Game 6 of the 2021 World Series
For Tuesday, McClure has listed Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario as one of the his top MLB DFS picks on FanDuel and DraftKings. Rosario has been an absolutely pivotal acquisition for the Braves, posting a .903 OPS with seven home runs and 16 RBIs in 33 games down the stretch to help Atlanta win the NL East.
And since the start of the 2021 MLB playoffs, Rosario has been even better. Entering Tuesday's Game 6, Rosario is 23-for-56 this postseason with three doubles, a triple and three home runs. He's driven in 11 and has a gaudy 1.137 OPS for the postseason. Rosario drew a walk and hit a single in three plate appearances against Luis Garcia in a Game 3 win and he's a solid play with Garcia expected to start for Houston again on Tuesday.
Part of his optimal MLB DFS strategy also includes rostering Correa again coming off his big game on Sunday. The 27-year-old has been a monster throughout his career during postseason play, slugging 18 home runs and driving in 59 runs with a .854 OPS during his playoff career.
During the 2021 MLB playoffs, Correa hasn't hit for a lot of power (one home run) but he has hit .286 and has a .375 OPS. Now he's coming off a three-hit game after going 2-for-14 to start the 2021 World Series. Correa hits 17 points better and has an OBP that is 39 points better in his career against left-handed pitching, so look for him to try to take advantage against Fried on Tuesday night.
