The 2021 MLB schedule rolls on Sunday with all 30 teams stocking the MLB DFS player pool to the max. Among the MLB DFS picks to consider is Toronto designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who leads the majors with 18 home runs heading into a 1:07 p.m. ET game against the Houston Astros. But Atlanta outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is just as hot, as he has belted 17 homers and is among the MLB leaders with 11 stolen bases heading into a 1:20 p.m. ET game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Guerrero is costing MLB DFS owners $5,700 on DraftKings and $4,500 on FanDuel, while Acuna will run $5,800 on DraftKings and $4,200 on FanDuel. Is either slugger worth the investment, and what other players should you consider from the 15-game MLB DFS slate? Before locking in any MLB DFS picks for Sunday, be sure to check out the MLB DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.
McClure is a daily Fantasy pro who has won almost $2 million in his career. And when it comes to daily Fantasy baseball, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book "Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune" as a top MLB DFS player, McClure's proprietary projection model simulates each game 10,000 times, taking factors such as matchups and recent results into account. This allows him to find the best values on every site.
On Saturday, McClure recommended Athletics catcher Sean Murphy as one of his core picks on DraftKings. The result: Murphy went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and a run scored to return 26 points on DraftKings. Anybody who had him in their lineup was well on the way to a profitable day.

McClure's top MLB DFS picks for June 6, 2021
One of McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Sunday is Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper at $4,800 on FanDuel and $3,500 on DraftKings. Harper is hitting .275 with seven home runs and 14 RBIs this season. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored on Saturday against the Nationals.
Harper clearly enjoys hitting against his former team -- homering, doubling and scoring four runs in four games against Washington so far in 2021. Harper thumped Washington last season as well, hitting .400 with a 1.167 OPS in his first season hitting against his former teammates. Should the Nationals send out a right-hander for their 1:05 p.m. ET game, Harper will be salivating -- as he has hit all seven homers and driven in all but two of his RBIs against righties in 2021.
Part of McClure's optimal MLB DFS strategy includes Astros third baseman Alex Bregman at $5,500 on DraftKings and $3,200 on FanDuel. Bregman is hitting .284 with six home runs and 29 RBIs this season. He went 0-for-4 against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
Bregman's performance on Saturday was an outlier, as he has torched Toronto in previous 2021 appearances. Bregman has doubled three times and scored four runs in four games against the Blue Jays this season. Bregman has also touched Blue Jays Sunday starter Steven Matz, going 2-for-3 with a double against Matz in his only previous appearance against the left-hander.
