NLCS Game 2 weather: Calm before the storm
The weather for Game 2 of the NLCS looks to be good, while a storm could greet the series in St. Louis.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Yet again, it's beautiful and will stay beautiful for game time. It's also nice in St. Louis, for now. Early reports are that a storm is expected to hit St. Louis on Wednesday, and rain could be an issue for Game 3 between the Cardinals and Giants that afternoon at Busch Stadium. After Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop for the other two games.
But enough gloom -- today, at least, is fantastic for baseball. Game-time temperatures should be in the low 60s with no rain but some wind. For Cardinals batting practice, the wind appeared to be blowing straight out.
