Free agent outfielder Norichika Aoki has agreed to a one-year contract with the Giants, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman.

He will make $4 million, plus performance bonuses. He has a 2016 option, which includes a $700,000 buyout. The max Aoki can make on the deal is $12.5 million.

The Giants will be the third MLB team for the 33-year-old Aoki, who played for the Brewers from 2012-13 and the Royals in 2014. He is a career .287 hitter with a .353 on-base percentage, .387 slugging percentage and .741 OPS in three MLB seasons.

He has a career .990 fielding percentage and can play all three outfield positions. However, he has mostly played in right field.
