Orioles phenom Dylan Bundy, who's almost unanimously regarded as the top pitching prospect in baseball, is headed to see Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion after experiencing further discomfort in his right elbow. MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli tweets that Bundy "didn't feel right" after throwing from flat ground on Monday.

Earlier this month, Bundy was cleared to begin a throwing program after previously being shut down because of elbow stiffness. He's yet to see game action this season, and obviously he's now in a holding pattern pending the results of his visit to Dr. Andrews.

The 20-year-old former fourth-overall pick of the 2011 draft notched a 2.04 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 4.25 K/BB across three different levels last season. Bundy also made two relief appearances for the Orioles after the rosters expanded in September. There, he allowed one hit and no runs in 1 2/3 innings.
