Orioles release catcher J.P. Arencibia from minor-league deal
The Orioles have released catcher J.P. Arencibia from his minor-league contract, according to MASNsports.com. Arencibia was scheduled to start the season at Triple-A Norfolk after being reassigned late in spring training.
Arencibia suffered a flexor mass strain in his right arm near the end of the spring.
