PHOTO: Bearded Boston ducks are fans of the Red Sox
Combine cute animals, sports and beards and you'll always have a winner.
What better way for members of the animal kingdom to support the Red Sox’s pursuit of another World Championship than to sprout...beards?
Inspired by the terrifying facial features of Mike Napoli, Dustin Pedroia, and Clay Buchholz (if you can even call that nasty thing a beard), NorthRiverOutfitter in Boston captured these duck statues in all their bearded glory. They're from the Make Way for Ducklings statues in the Boston Public Garden.
The sidewalk is nice, but it’s too bad the duck statues weren’t, you know, on a pond.
Don't miss bearded George Washington, either.
