A farm in New Jersey cut a five-acre corn maze in the shape of Derek Jeter's face.
Yankees captain Derek Jeter in the middle of his final season -- only 40 regular season games left after Sunday's win (NY 4, TB 2) -- and fans have been showing him lots of love everywhere he goes. He's getting cheered on the road more than the hometown team.
VonThun Farms in New Jersey took it one step further. They cut Jeter's face into a five-acre corn maze. Here, look:
"We are right in the middle of Yankees territory," said Cindy VonThun to Brian Amaral of NJ.com. "No matter which way you turn, everybody just loves Derek Jeter. He's just the all-around good guy."
Amaral says the corn maze design was originally a tractor with pumpkins, but the company who cuts the maze for the VonThun family came up with the Jeter face idea as an alternative.
The Jeter face maze opens to the public on Sept. 20. There are two different paths, with the longer taking up to an hour to complete.
