Photo of the Day: 1966 Astros program trolls 'Amazing' Mets
Nearly 50 years ago, the Astros used the cover of a souvenir program to the troll the awful Mets.
The art of trolling is as old as the Earth itself, but very rarely is it done well. Nearly a half-century ago, the Astros did it well. They used the cover of their souvenir program to rib the presumably visiting Amazin' Mets:

The Mets went 66-95 in 1966, the second worst record in the league behind the 103-loss Cubs. The Astros weren't much better though, going 72-90. I don't know if that's good enough to make fun of another team on the cover of a program, but I applaud Houston for going for it. Well done, 'Stros.
