Pirates among those with interest in Indians star Choo
The Indians aren't committed sellers but know they won't be able to keep Choo long-term.
For now, they appear to be the most interested team in Choo.
The Indians are in a position between buyers and sellers but understand they have little chance to sign Choo, a free agent after 2013, to a long-term deal so may be open to the right deal. It is believed they've asked for Pirates rookie outfielder Starling Marte from Pittsburgh. The Indians would likely also seek a pitcher back in return.
There was tough to be possible Rangers interest, but sources say a deal for Choo is "not happening'' with them. The fit was curious with them to begin with
