There's no question Josh Hamilton is the top position player on the free-agent market, but there are plenty of questions as to just what he's worth on the open market. CBSSports.com senior writer Scott Miller wrote a little bit about this question on Friday, but it appears Hamilton has his own ideas.
Baseball Prospectus' John Perrotto sent out this tweet on Friday.
There's no question Hamilton at his best could command that kind of money, but it seems like there are just too many questions for anyone to hand out that kind of contract. Of course, a year ago I wouldn't have expected Albert Pujols to get 10 years, and he did. As it's always noted, it only takes one to fall in love.
